macOS 12 Monterey
Our Mac software team has been hard at work adding new features for SoftRAID as well as adding support for the Apple new OS – macOS 12 Monterey. SoftRAID 6.2.1 work with both Intel and Apple silicon Macs and adds compatibility for macOS 12.

Room to Move
SoftRAID features an all-new license system making it easier to manage your licenses and provide better security. Easily activate and deactivate your license to move to a new computer or add additional discounted seats to make sharing your RAID volumes easier.

Cross-platform
SoftRAID licenses are now universal enabling you to use both the Mac and PC versions of SoftRAID. Right now you can share RAID 0/1 HFS+ volumes seamlessly between computers bringing a whole new level of computing harmony. Get more done than ever before!

Enhanced TRIM Support
We’ve redesigned the SoftRAID driver to process TRIM commands even more efficiently and now supports continuous data transfers over 12GB/s enabling you to take advantage on breakthrough technologies like the OWC Accelsior 8M2.

APFS Support for Mac
With the introduction of SoftRAID 6.1 for Mac, users can now create and delete SoftRAID volumes which are formatted as APFS. You can create a single volume inside an APFS container on a SoftRAID volume. Additional volumes can be added to the APFS container using Apple’s Disk Utility application. You can even add encrypted APFS volumes to your APFS container using Disk Utility.

SoftRAID 6 has hundreds of tweaks under the hood and some new outward-facing enhancements.

Come together
SoftRAID has changed the way disk tiles are displayed by grouping them by enclosure making it easier to keep track of multiple drives. All the drives in a given enclosure are now displayed next to each other.

Easy on the Eyes
SoftRAID 6 allows dark mode which is great for darker workspaces and reduces blue light.

¹SoftRAID Pro, Lite, and XT work with macOS 10.12 or later and Windows 10. Apple silicon (M1) Macs require macOS 11.3 or later. SoftRAID is licensed per computer. RAID 4/5/1+0 (10) are currently Mac only at this time.
