We discovered a data corruption bug in SoftRAID version 5.0.5. This bug only affects SoftRAID volumes which have been rebuilt.
The bug has been fixed in version 5.0.7 and later. If you currently running version 5.0.5, please upgrade to latest version of SoftRAID as soon as possible.

After upgrading to the latest version, you can Validate each of your SoftRAID volumes to ensure all the parity and mirror data is correct. To validate a volume, run the SoftRAID application, click on the volume tile for the volume and select “Validate” from the “Volume” menu.
