How to Purchase SoftRAID

Use the SoftRAID online store

Purchase one or more copies of SoftRAID

This is the fastest way to purchase SoftRAID, SoftRAID Lite or SoftRAID support. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive a purchase confirmation email and a second email from us with your serial number. The whole process should take less than a day.

If you don't see the email from us with your serial number, check your junk mail folder or spam filtering service. If you still can't find it, contact us.

Volume discounts for 3 or more copies

If you purchase 3 or more copies of SoftRAID from our online store, you will automatically receive a discount. The discount prices for SoftRAID are:

 3–4 at $139.70 each   5–9 at $131.80 each   10 or more at $117.90 each 

Note: Volume discount does not apply to SoftRAID Lite purchases

What type of computer do I need to run SoftRAID or SoftRAID Lite?

SoftRAID will run on any Mac built after 2007 which is running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later. (TRIM support for SSDs requires Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later.) Unlike many applications, SoftRAID has modest requirements for system memory and disk space.

What type of disks does SoftRAID and SoftRAID Lite work with?

You can use any disk which you attach directly to your Mac. This includes:

  • Thunderbolt disks
  • Internal and external SATA disks
  • SSDs (Solid State Disks)
  • Fibre Channel and SAS disks
  • USB 2 and USB 3 disks
  • FireWire disks
  • USB flash drives (yes, even those!)
