We are releasing a M1 (Apple Silicon) version of SoftRAID today with the SoftRAID 6 beta.
We have performance optimization to work on for new volumes, but older volumes should be OK.
There are still some issues, feel free to post any differences you see, but at least you can be working withi SoftRAID now.

Thank you for your hard work in making this available. No issues accessing my RAID 5 APFS volume so far running on an M1 MacBook Pro.
I noticed a couple things with the app. There's no status displayed on the menu bar even though it's enabled.
Also my volume shows unmounted in the application though it seems to be working fine. Just checking if that's expected behavior at this time.
Christmas comes early! Thank you.
thanks, all.
I will look out for SoftRAID Monitor issues, yes it should be showing in the menu.
SoftRAID application does not yet support APFS. they will work, but the application cannot mount/unmount them and does not really see them correctly. Not an issue, it is just the application, not the driver.
Thanks for making this work on M1! I can confirm that it is running and mounting volumes on my Mac mini M1 connected to two ThunderBay 4s, One Thunderbay IV and an Apple Thunderbolt display. I am reading and writing to previously created volumes just fine.
