"I've been using SoftRAID 3.1 on a G5 2.5GHz PowerMac running an Atto UL4D PCI-X with 4X Cheetahs in a 280GB 15K RPM striped RAID in addition to combined mirrored and striped 2x250GB SATA drives in the G5 and 4X250GB stripped Lacie FW800 drives.
