How do I get support for SoftRAID?
All standard support for SoftRAID is handled via e-mail.
Vendor Support The first support contact should be your supplier. If you received SoftRAID bundled with a PCI SCSI card, (Such as Adaptec, Initio or Ratoc) contact the card manufacturer first. If you received SoftRAID from a reseller, please contact them first for help.
If you received SoftRAID directly from Apple Computer, Apple will give you first tier support for SoftRAID.
The SoftRAID Guide on the Help Menu is offers installation instructions, high performance tips and descriptions of every function within SoftRAID.
Also, you can join the new SoftRAID support mailing list. The Support list allows any SoftRAID user to ask us, other SoftRAID users, VAR's and dealers about SoftRAID, share tips, results, performance, troubleshoot, and more.

Extended support
You can purchase one year support from us for $99 annually. This entitles the purchaser to priority support via e-mail, and telephone technical support. For further information see our purchase section.
NOTE: Purchasing Extended Support does not entitle the purchaser to "unlimited" technical support. SoftRAID has the right to limit the time spent supporting any customer, at SoftRAID's sole discretion.

How long do I have to wait for a response?
We will respond within 24 hours. If response takes more than 24 hours, then please resend.
How do I report a problem?
Please troubleshoot your system before you contact us by including:
- A full detailed description of your problem
- Steps you have already taken
- The symptoms
- Your system's hard drives, SCSI cards, cables, and termination
- An Apple System Profiler data file named so we can recognize it, such as with your e-mail address
