Q: How much does SoftRAID cost?
The electronic download version is $129 and the CD version is available for $149 plus shipping and handling.
Q: Where can I purchase SoftRAID 3?
SoftRAID 3.6.6 is available from your local Apple retailer or certified Apple Consultant, or is available online from Kagi.
Q: Can I see a copy of SoftRAID before I buy it?
Yes, click here to find out about our trial version of SoftRAID 3.
Q: How do I purchase an upgrade from SoftRAID 2 to SoftRAID 3?
All 2.2.2 copies purchased after September 2, 2003 can be upgraded to version 3.x for $39.00. Please contact us at support@softraid.com.
This offer is only for those who purchased SoftRAID direct from our Kagi store.
Q: Will I receive a free 3.6.6 upgrade automatically?
If you do not receive 3.6.6, and you purchased 3.5.1 from our web site, please
contact sales@softraid.com with your email address, and Kagi order number.

Q: Can I still purchase SoftRAID 2.2.2?
Yes, you can at the Kagi store.
Q: Do I have to make my purchase over the Internet?
No. When placing an order with Kagi you are given the option to pay by credit card over the Internet, or send in a check or cash payment, although this process takes longer.
Q: Are credit card purchases safe using Kagi?
Kagi's online purchasing system is designed to be very secure. Unlike most online stores, Kagi does not store your credit card in a central database for marketing purposes. Each sale is handled separately, and securely. Kagi does not try to sell you additional items, nor use your name and contact information for any other purpose. Kagi's data processing systems do not run on Windows.
Q: In which languages is SoftRAID 3 available?
SoftRAID 3 only has an English version available at the moment. We are currently working on localization.

Q: How will I receive SoftRAID 3?
If you purchase the electronic version, the SoftRAID installer will be e-mailed within 24 hours of your online purchase. A Manual and a QuickStart guide are included in Adobe Acrobat format. If you have problems with receiving a large e-mail, we can make other options available.
Q: Can SoftRAID 3 be shipped on a CD ROM?
Yes, it is available from the Kagi store for $149 plus shipping and handling.
Q: Are demonstration copies of SoftRAID available?
If you are a qualified hardware or software developer and require a demonstration version of SoftRAID for testing or compatibility testing, contact us at sales@softraid.com.
Q: Is SoftRAID 3 bundled with drives or SCSI cards?
Not anymore. SoftRAID 2 was bundled with many vendors and OEM's. SoftRAID 3 will sell as a stand-alone product. There may be some dealers/resellers who bundle SoftRAID with drives as a special package purchase, and we will create a list of these special programs as they become available.

Q: Does SoftRAID have any resellers or distributors?
Yes. Your local dealer can order SoftRAID for you.
Q: Who do I contact for support?
Every properly licensed user of SoftRAID is entitled to e-mail and Web-based technical support. Technical questions can be sent to support@softraid.com. If you wish to have telephone technical support, you may purchase additional technical support, which is available on a one-time basis, or as "annual" support.
Q: Can I use a purchase order?
Kagi, who accepts payments on our behalf, is only equipped for prepaid purchase orders. You can send in a check with an order. If your organization is a Government or Educational Institute who must use purchase orders, please contact us at sales@softraid.com and we will instruct you on how to issue purchase orders for SoftRAID. If you are interested in a volume purchase, please contact us and we will be happy to work with you.
Q: Does SoftRAID offer an educational discount?
At this time, there is no additional discount for educational organizations.
