SoftRAID, LLC announces the release and immediate shipment of SoftRAID 3.6.7.

Mill Valley, CA

SoftRAID LLC is pleased to announce the release of version 3.6.7 of their RAID software for Mac OS X. With this release, we continue to deliver the best software RAID solution for the Mac. This version introduces a new driver mechanism which always stores two copies of the RAID header information for each volume. In the unlikely event that the RAID header gets corrupted, the driver can now use the backup copy to correctly mount the volume. In addition, this version adds several fixes for problems which our users found during the first few months of using Leopard.

SoftRAID, LLC announces the release and immediate shipment of SoftRAID 3.6.4.

Sebastapool, CA

SoftRAID 3.6.4 is a minor update to the SoftRAID 3.6.3 software RAID application.

This version of SoftRAID fully supports startup volumes under Leopard, the forthcoming major update of Mac OS X. Users will be able to migrate SoftRAID volumes to Leopard machines, update their SoftRAID boot volumes to Leopard, and install Leopard onto SoftRAID volumes seamlessly.

SoftRAID 3.6.2 released: Adds 10.4.10 compatiblity and improved Leopard support

SoftRAID, LLC today released a new version of its software-based RAID solution for Mac OS X Systems.

SoftRAID 3.6.2 improves support for Leopard, the next major release of Mac OS X. SoftRAID users will easily be able to migrate to Leopard when it is released. This release of SoftRAID also will take advantage of many of the new features available in Leopard.

SoftRAID Startup Volumes on Intel

SoftRAID LLC, newly headquarted in Sebastopol, CA, today released version 3.6 of SoftRAID, an important Intel-based upgrade to their RAID backup and performance software for the Mac. SoftRAID 3.6 offers complete support for all Intel processors, including the Mac Pro and Intel Xserve. Most significantly, SoftRAID version 3.6 now offers the ability to boot Intel Macs from SoftRAID Mirror and Stripe Volumes.

Intel Compatibility for SoftRAID 3

SoftRAID LLC announced SoftRAID 3.5, their Intel-compatible version of SoftRAID 3 today. SoftRAID's superior volume management software now allows endusers to create and maintain RAID and non-RAID volumes on Intel Macs. Both PowerPC and Intel Macs will now recognize SoftRAID volumes created on either type of machine.

SoftRAID 3.2 ships; 4 Petabyte volumes and Full Tiger Compatibility.

SoftRAID, LLC is pleased to announce the shipping of SoftRAID version 3.2, with full Mac OS 10.4 compatibility. SoftRAID 3.2 can now create startup DVDs with Tiger, and can update previous versions of the SoftRAID startup CD to the latest version.

SOFTRAID 3.2 takes full advantage of the new disk driver architecture built into Mac OS 10.4.

SoftRAID driver now included with Tiger.

SoftRAID LLC, announced today that its SoftRAID 3 driver is included with Apple's new operating System, Tiger (Mac OS 10.4). This includes all retail DVD's and CPUs which come pre-installed with 10.4.

The SoftRAID 3 driver allows the OS X system to recognize SoftRAID volumes created with the SoftRAID 3 application.

Panther compatible version of SoftRAID 3 ships!
SoftRAID LLC today announced its new Panther compatible SoftRAID 3, version 3.0.1. Although this release comes right on the heels of the initial 3.0 release, SoftRAID was pleased to be able to incorporate Panther specific features such as support for Case Sensitive HFS+ volumes and the ability to enable or disable Journaling.
