This section outlines only changes in SoftRAID from 2.0.2 to 2.1.7

• SoftRAID 2.1 - 2.1.7 adds the following features:
• Mac OS System 8.5/8.6 compatibility
• An HFS+ checkbox to enable single step Extended Volume Format creation
• Minor improvements to the SoftRAID mirroring rebuild and bad drive recovery code
• Improved compatibility with Ultra2SCSI (LVD)
• Increases single file I/O limits from 32MB to 2TB
• Changed the web page support address to www.softraid.com
• Increased System heap memory requirements by 256K to accommodate more (>40) striped volumes.

SoftRAID, LLC now owns the Copyright and Registration Mark for SoftRAID®. Conley Corp. was purchased by EMC in July 1998, and is no longer involved with the SoftRAID product. SoftRAID, LLC purchased all rights to SoftRAID from EMC in August 1998.
